Supplies for the first week
I didn't need much more supplies then I had at my house already. I had enough warm clothing. I had at least 10 cords of dried fire wood and 15 cords drying out. I had at least 100 gallons of disel that I could use for my truck and for oil lamps. I had 400 gallons of drinking water in drums in my basement. I went out to the store to get some more wicks for my lamps and first aid supplies. I had a hunting bow and arrows so that I could get fresh meat which I did often enough before. I was all set to survive.
Food for the 1st week
I was very lucky. Well, the whole town was. We are a small, rural town, and we had already stocked up on food for the winter. So the we all had food in the houses already. On the day 4, the town decided that we would divide the food up that we had in town between all the residents in the town. The amount of food in the store was enough that after we divided all the food up, each person had at least a years worth of food if it was rationed correctly. I was all set, I was not going to need any food for a while.
